In addition to the summer academies, activities throughout the year help participants stay connected with their peers, to make them feel they have a home base to return to, and to remind them of those who care. These activities include special events in the fall, a one-day academy in January, attendance at Cal Day (UC Berkeley’s Family Open House in the Spring), and others.
